Eric E. Schmidt Ph.D. has been Chief Executive Officer of Google Inc., since July 2001. Schmidt served as Chairman of Board of Google Inc. from March 2001 until April 2004. From April 1997 to July 2001, Schmidt served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Novell Inc. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
